In the latest episode of "Show me your home", model and influencer Barbara Egholm invites us inside her cozy apartment in Vesterbro, where she lives with her husband. Barbara's home is a beautiful combination of beloved holiday finds, vintage furniture and carefully selected design elements that create a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The home is filled with personal touches that reflect Barbara's travels and memories. A beautiful ceramic vase from Sicily, which she brought home from a vacation, welcomes guests in the entryway, while flowers throughout the apartment add life and color. The living room, kept in relaxing green tones, gets lots of natural light, creating a cozy oasis where the couple often relax. They love to watch The Crown together, but when Barbara's husband chooses, the movies are often about World War II. If they are in the mood for something lighter, comedies are high on the list.
The kitchen has retained its original charm with the characteristic blue walls from the move-in, but Barbara has put her own stamp on the room. A display cabinet, painted in the same color as the kitchen and wallpapered inside, holds her collection of special cups and glasses from Reflections Copenhagen, among others, which are only taken out on special occasions. They often bring home coffee from Sicily, which adds a lovely scent of good memories to the room.
The bedroom acts as a calm retreat with neutral, soft colours. The beautiful rattan headboard from Swedish The Straw creates coziness, while a deep blue vintage Murano mirror from Florence acts as the room's elegant centerpiece. In the dining room, a Murano lamp hangs above the table and matches the style of the room perfectly. A large vase from Sicily adds personality, and a carefully selected carpet and wallpaper from Helene Blanche tie it all together. The iconic Flos Snoopy lamp stands on the windowsill and adds a playful detail to the decor.
For Barbara, every item in the home is carefully selected. Whether it's something she immediately felt a connection to or something with sentimental value, her home is filled with things that speak to her. It is a home that is as unique and welcoming as herself.
