Product description

Model side table designed by Aksel Kjersgaard, made in Denmark in the early 1960s. The table is made with a solid rosewood frame and a rosewood veneer tabletop, where the grain structure is particularly striking. An elegant and functional piece of furniture that reflects Kjersgaard's characteristic approach to Danish design.

The table has been completely restored by a professional Danish cabinetmaker and is in very nice vintage condition with only light traces of use. A sustainable vintage choice that works well as a side table in the living room, hallway or as an addition to modern Scandinavian interiors.

Aksel Kjersgaard (b. 1920) is known for his simple and well-proportioned designs, often made from exclusive woods such as rosewood and teak. His furniture is highly valued for its craftsmanship and timeless aesthetics.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
