Product description

Model Falcon pendant designed by Andreas Hansen for Fog & Mørup as part of Rainbow Lineseries from 1969. Made of lacquered metal shades in white/grey and light green, which create a soft and pleasant light. The construction gives a characteristic expression, where the slight overlap of the shades distributes the light evenly and adds a calm atmosphere to the room.

The lamp was manufactured in Denmark in the late 1960s and comes with new wiring and an E27/E26 socket. It appears in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. A sustainable vintage choice that combines classic Danish lighting design with a special color expression.

Andreas Hansen (b. 1936) is known for his thoughtful lighting designs, where colors and shade geometry create atmospheric light. Fog & Mørup was one of Denmark's most important lamp manufacturers, especially in the 1960s, and the collaboration between Hansen and the manufacturer has made the Falcon series a sought-after collector's item.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
