Product description

Model GS61 and GS91 dining chairs designed by Arne Wahl Iversen and manufactured by Glyngøre Stolefabrik in the 1960s–70s. The set consists of four chairs in teak, where the frame has been carefully restored and oiled to highlight the warm tone of the wood. The seats are newly wicker-covered, giving a strong and authentic expression.

The chairs' proportions are well-balanced with a high back and classic Danish design, making them suitable for both the dining table and as comfortable seating for extended periods of time. All chairs have the manufacturer's mark under the seat.

Arne Wahl Iversen (1927–2017) was a prominent Danish designer with a focus on functionality and material quality. His designs for Glyngøre Stolefabrik are known for their durability and harmonious lines.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
