Product description

Model plastic pendant designed by Bent Karlby for A. Schrøder Kemi in the 1970s. Made of molded plastic with a sculptural Space Age expression, where curved lines and diffuse light distribution create a striking visual effect. The lamp provides a soft, indirect light and acts as a clear eye-catcher in the room.

The lamp appears in good vintage condition with a melted area, which can be seen in the last pictures. The cord has been replaced with a new one, and the model comes with an E27/E26 socket. A sustainable vintage choice that represents a rarer side of Bent Karlby's work within Danish lighting design.

Bent Karlby (1912–1998) is known for a number of iconic lamp designs, where color, shape and geometry work together to create atmospheric lighting experiences.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
