Christophe Pillet – Swivel chair "Y's" for Cappellini

Postmodern swivel chair model "Y's" designed by French designer Christophe Pillet for Italian Cappellini in 1997. The chair has a stylish seat in integral foam upholstered in fabric and a swivel base in cast metal, lacquered in natural-colored aluminum.

Christophe Pillet is known for combining harmony and originality in his designs. He studied at the Domus Academy in Milan in the 1980s, became a member of the Memphis group and received the Designer of the Year award in 1993. His work is internationally recognized and balances function and aesthetics.

This chair appears in original condition with minor signs of wear – including a dent and stains (see photos). A strong take on postmodern elegance with Italian quality and French flair.
