Handmade bench

A perfect blend of industrial design and traditional craftsmanship. This bench features a hand-welded steel frame, custom mahogany end caps and a hand-woven seat. The seat is made of continuous Danish paper yarn, which is braided around L-shaped nails using a traditional craftsmanship method. The mahogany straps are mounted under the steel frame. The bench has a hand-welded frame, which is blasted (black) and oiled for a stylish look. The simple cross-connections of steel tubes highlight both the traditional craftsmanship and the simple industrial design. The round wooden details act as end caps for the steel tubes and create a reference to the Danish design classics from the 50s and 60s. Adjustable rubber feet ensure a non-slip grip and compensate for small unevenness in the floor.
