Product description

Iconic armchair designed by Finn Juhl, model 218 – also known as Jupiter – produced by France & Søn in the 1960s. Made of beautiful teak with original black leather upholstery, which testifies to Juhl's sense of organic shapes and subtle details.

The chair appears in very nice vintage condition with a warm patina. A previous owner has chosen to secure the legs with screws rather than the original assembly, but this does not affect the stability. A sought-after collector's item and an excellent example of Finn Juhl's elegant design philosophy.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
