Information about the designer

Frits Henningsen (1889–1965) was a Danish cabinetmaker and designer known for his furniture of the highest craftsmanship. He always worked in the workshop himself and demanded the same from his apprentices, ensuring furniture with a rare finish and durability. His designs are characterized by elegant lines, classic proportions and a timeless aesthetic, which has made them sought after by collectors and connoisseurs of Danish furniture art.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
