Gerrit Rietveld – Chair for Cassina, 1980s

Iconic chair designed by Gerrit Rietveld in 1934 and manufactured by Cassina in the 1980s. The chair is made of beech wood and marked with both Cassina and Rietveld's workshop.

Rietveld used wood from shipping crates and created a strong, simple design that is easy to assemble and full of character.

The chair is in good condition with normal signs of wear. The original cushion from Cassina is included, but is worn and the foam has become porous.

A unique piece of design history – and a sustainable choice.
