Hans Wegner – FH4602 table and FH4103 chairs for Fritz Hansen

Iconic dining room set designed by Hans J. Wegner for Fritz Hansen in 1952. The set consists of a round dining table (FH4602) and six stackable dining chairs (FH4103), known as The Heart Chair because of the characteristic heart-shaped seats.

The three-legged design allows the chairs to be pushed completely under the table, so the set takes up minimal space in the room. We acquired this set from the original owner, and it appears to be in very good condition after a complete restoration. All joints have been inspected and are now in very good condition.

The edge and base of the table are made of beech wood, while the tabletop has been updated with a new black Forbo linoleum top – a practical and aesthetic choice that matches the original look of the table and makes it more resistant to daily use. The chairs have teak seats and beech legs and backrests.

A seamless and harmonious design that represents Danish furniture art at its most functional and elegant. Original models like this are both sought-after and a sustainable choice with character and history.
