Illum Wikkelsø – 2 x armchairs for Niels Eilersen, 1960s

Two elegant armchairs designed by Illum Wikkelsø for Niels Eilersen in the 1960s. The chairs are characterized by their softly curved armrests, beautiful wood joints and timeless Danish design. The quality frame in solid teak is combined here with newly upholstered cushions in the fabric Doodle 098 - a structure reminiscent of sheepskin and adding warmth and character.

The condition is very good with only light patina on the woodwork and new cushions, making the set suitable for everyday use. A beautiful example of Danish furniture design from the mid-century.
