Elegant rocking chair model IW3 designed by the Danish architect and furniture designer Illum Wikkelsø in 1958 and manufactured by Niels Eilersen in the 1960s. The chair is made of beech wood and reflects Wikkelsø's love of organic shapes and simple lines.
Wikkelsø believed that furniture should last a lifetime, provide support for the body and at the same time please the eye – all of this is expressed in this classic rocking chair. The frame has been freshly sanded, treated and waxed, and the chair appears in very good condition.
