J&J Kohn – 2 x Chairs, Model No. 167, 1880

These two chairs, designed by J&J Kohn in 1880, are an excellent example of the classic cooperage and style that characterizes furniture from this period. The chairs' sleek and elegant design combines bentwood and rattan, creating both functional and aesthetic appeal. Model No. 167 was noted for its comfort and timeless expression.

The chairs are in good condition with a pleasant patina of age. They have been thoroughly cleaned and repolished with a shellac finish. One of the chairs has had a leg repaired, but is otherwise in very good condition. Normal wear and tear due to age and use.
