Product description

Model bust created by Czech sculptor Jindřich Říha in the late 1800th century. Říha, born in 1862 during the Austro-Hungarian Empire and died in 1920, was known for his naturalistic and evocative portraits. This bust is a fine example of the Belle Époque aesthetic, where classical design and craftsmanship precision are combined in a period-typical expression.

Made of plaster and signed by the artist. In original condition with visible surface wear and patina, which attest to its age and authenticity. A historical and collectible piece that reflects the artistic ideals of the era.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
