Product description

Model Equator pendant designed by Jo Hammerborg and manufactured by Fog & Mørup in the 1970s. Made of metal with original blue paint, a color variant that is rarely seen. The construction consists of offset shades that create a soft and shielded light output - a hallmark of Hammerborg's work.

The lamp appears in good vintage condition with significant signs of age, which emphasize its original expression and patina. A characterful lighting that functions as a distinctive element in both modern and classic interiors.

Jo Hammerborg worked as chief designer at Fog & Mørup from 1957 to 1980 and is behind some of the most iconic Danish lamps from the period. The Equator model is a clear example of his rigorous and functional approach to form and light.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
