Product description

Elegant 3-seater sofa designed by Karl Edvard Korseth for LK Hjelle in Norway, 1955. This is the low-back model, called "Texas". (The high variant in the series is called "Satelitt"). The sofa is characterized by beautiful, organically shaped armrests and a harmonious balance between form and function.

The sofa is in excellent condition – completely overhauled, lovingly restored and reupholstered, so it looks like new and is ready for many years to come. The warm teak finish beautifully contrasts with the fresh, yellow upholstery, adding character and charm to any room.

A piece of true Norwegian design history with both comfort and visual lightness – and a sustainable choice, as it has been restored with respect for the original craftsmanship.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
