Product description

Model Texas armchair designed by Karl Edvard Korseth for LK Hjelle in Norway in 1955. This is the low version, known as "Texas", while the tall variant is called "Satelitt". A characterful design with a light expression, typical of Norwegian modernism in the 1950s.

The chair has been carefully restored and reupholstered with yellow fabric upholstery, giving it a fresh and vibrant look. The frame is made of teak wood, and the combination of materials and shape emphasizes both the functional and aesthetic qualities of the design.

A beautiful and well-documented example of Norwegian furniture design with rarity value. Appears in very good condition and is ready for use.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
