Kip Gresham is a master printer, publisher and artist. He has established several influential and highly productive printing studios and publishing houses. All are driven by his technical skills, experimentation and creative collaboration.

In his own practice, the nature of the materials is of crucial importance, and Kip explores the difference between intention and result, using methods of both extreme control and total lack of control. In his drawings, Kip has worked with graphite and varnish, where the graphite pencil is the simplest of tools, but sharp to reveal the artist's hand through the lines. Varnish is transparent and Kip has used this material by drawing without touching the paper. The resulting visual dialogue between the sharp and the uncontrollable is alluring. The underlying intent of each image is exactly the same, and in fact Kip creates each drawing twice, layer upon layer.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
