Product description
Model ceiling lamp designed by Louis Kalff for Philips in the 1960s. The lamp is made with four adjustable spots, which makes it possible to direct the light precisely and create both functional and atmospheric lighting. The design is simple and technically influenced, making the lamp suitable for modernist and architectural interiors.
The lampshades bear original Philips logos. Two copies are available, with minor variations due to different years of production. Bulbs are not included. A characterful ceiling lamp that combines flexibility and classic 1960s design.
Louis Kalff headed Philips' design department and worked widely in graphic design, industrial design, advertising and architecture. His work for Philips includes lamps, radios and the early Bakelite speakers and has had a major impact on the company's visual identity.
