Product description

Set of two elegant armchairs designed by Madsen & Schubell in the 1950s, Danish design. The chairs are made of stained beech and have the characteristic, floating expression with both back and seat lifted slightly from the frame. The organic armrests and the slightly tapered legs create a harmonious and sculptural whole, typical of the duo's design style.

The chairs are in excellent vintage condition. They were reupholstered in quality fabric less than five years ago and have only been lightly used in a non-smoking home.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
