Product description

Lamp for the ceiling designed by Sven Middelboe in 1968 for the lighting company Nordisk Solar. It carries the model number 41094 or 485, the latter referring to the overall diameter of the lamp. The design is inspired by the Arena di Verona, from which it takes its name.

It is constructed with seven circular screens in white aluminium. Each screen is angled to create an even and glare-free light distribution. The way the screens are assembled makes it impossible to see any visible connections between them, giving the impression that they are floating.

This is a timeless piece of lighting that is still in excellent condition. In addition, the lamp has an adjustable mechanism at the top that allows you to control the direction of the light, either down towards the room or up towards the ceiling.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
