Poul Kjærholm – PK61 coffee table in white marble for E. Kold Christensen

PK61 is one of Poul Kjærholm's most iconic works – a low coffee table with a simple and sculptural expression, originally designed in 1956. This example is an original version from the 1960s, produced by Ejvind Kold Christensen in Denmark.

The table consists of a loose top in white marble, which rests on a framework in matt steel. Kjærholm's sense of proportion and the natural character of materials are clearly evident here – a table that balances aesthetics and functionality with great precision. The table's frame is stamped with the EKC Denmark logo.

An iconic collector's item, found in permanent collections such as MoMA in New York, and which continues to stand as a strong example of Danish design tradition. It has natural patina and light signs of wear, but no cracks in the marble top.
