Rob Parry – Sofa set in teak and light grey for Furniture Industry Gelderland, 1960s

This vintage sofa set from the 1960s was designed by Rob Parry for Meubelindustrie Gelderland. The set consists of a 3-seater sofa and two armchairs, both with an elegant teak and metal frame, finished with nickel details. The design is minimalist and timeless, and fits both modern and classic interiors.

Exhibitors

The set is in very good condition. The cushions have been reupholstered with Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3 205 fabric, consisting of 90% new wool and 10% nylon. The fabric has a Martindale of 100.000, which gives it excellent durability. The light gray color contains subtle shades of gray and brown. The filling has been updated with cold foam for extra comfort. The frame has been cleaned and polished, and there are only light signs of wear and natural discoloration, which is typical of age.
