Sigurd Ressel – Falcon Chair for Vatne furniture in black leather, 1980s

The iconic Falcon Chair designed by Sigurd Ressel for Vatne Møbler, Norway, circa 1974. Produced in the 1980s, this chair is made of black bentwood, canvas and black leather with red trim along the edges. The frame is completed with chrome-plated metal brackets. The chair is still in good condition with normal signs of use and wear. The canvas has a slight discoloration, but there are no cracks or damage to the leather or canvas. The foam in the leather has been renewed, as have the leather straps that hold the cushion to the canvas.
