Søren Ladefoged - 2 x dining chairs in teak with paper string, 1960s

Elegant set of two dining chairs designed by Søren Ladefoged and produced by SL Møbler in Denmark in the 1960s. The chairs' light and refined expression makes them suitable both for the dining table and as freestanding design objects.

The chairs are made of solid teak, which is carefully sanded and oiled, so that the warm glow of the wood is beautifully expressed. Both seats have been renewed with braided paper cord, which combines classic Danish craftsmanship with high comfort. The chairs come from different sets, which gives a minimal difference in the color tone - see photos for details. One chair bears markings from the manufacturer.
