Sven Ivar Dysthe – Sofa and armchair in rosewood and black leather, 1960s

Rare Norwegian sofa group designed by Sven Ivar Dysthe for Dokka Møbler around 1960. The model, known as 1001 AF, was launched as part of the 1001 series and is characterized by the beautiful wooden frame without visible joints – unlike other versions with metal frames. The back seems to float, supported by elegant steel brackets at the corners.

The set consists of an armchair and a three-seater sofa in rosewood with a beautiful, distinctive grain pattern. Both parts have been carefully restored and newly upholstered with cold foam and exclusive black leather. The condition is very good, with a few light traces of wear on the wood and a small mark on the back of the armchair (see photo).

An impressive set that will look great in both modern homes and stylish office environments.
