Product description

Vintage office chair designed by Toon De Wit and produced by De Wit NV in the Netherlands around 1950. The chair is fully adjustable and swivels and has armrests in bakelite, which provides both functionality and a classic industrial look.

The backrest can be adjusted to six different heights via a button under the seat, and the tilt can be adjusted with a knob at the back. The seat can both rotate and adjust in height from 46 to 53 cm. The armrests have a characteristic design – flat at the front and raised at the back – and can be tilted up.

The chair stands on five legs and has been newly upholstered in white and green leather, giving it a fresh look while retaining its original design. The patina on the chrome parts shows age and use, but the chair appears in very good condition overall.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
