Torben Valeur & Henning Jensen - Rosewood Desk for Dyrlund, 1960s

This desk was designed by Henning Jensen and Torben Valeur for Dyrlund in Denmark in the 1960s. The desk has a rosewood frame and impressive joints with inlays, which are also repeated on the elegant handles. The geometric base, which shows the joinery, creates a unique floating impression. The legs are removable for easier transport.

The front of the desk is equipped with six drawers (three on each side), while the back has an open shelf for extra storage. The only decorative detail on the desk lies in the fine joinery and wood, which is so well used in Danish furniture design.

The desk is perfect as a central piece of furniture in the home, office, living room or any work environment. It has been inspected by our team and is in fantastic original condition. The wood has been refreshed with professional care products. Small signs of use have been left as they do not spoil the aesthetics and simply confirm the originality of the furniture.
