Rare and beautifully crafted 3-seater sofa, model "Studio Open", designed by Torbjørn Afdal for Bruksbo in 1965 and manufactured by Sandvik & Co in Norway. The sofa is a striking example of Afdal's sense of materials and proportions and combines aesthetics with function in an elegant and well-balanced design.

The frame is made of rosewood with a beautiful glow and rich grain patterns, while the cushions are upholstered in black leather, which still looks beautiful and well-preserved. The webbing under the seat has been renewed, ensuring high comfort and stability.

Torbjørn Afdal is considered one of Norway's most influential furniture designers, and this model is a sought-after example of his craftsmanship and design approach.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
