Product description

Patchwork wall lamp designed by Toni Zuccheri and manufactured by Venini in Italy in the 1960s. The lamp consists of Murano glass plates mounted on a painted metal frame and is characterized by the colored, geometric glasswork, which gives a vibrant and artistic light expression. The frame bears the original Venini stamp.

The lamp is equipped with one E14 socket (max. 40W). A copper-colored ball fitting is missing, but the lamp otherwise appears in good vintage condition. A rare piece of Italian glass design, suitable as decorative lighting in a hallway, living room or bedroom.

Venini has been among the most prominent glassmakers on the island of Murano since the 1930s, known for combining modern designers with traditional craftsmanship. Toni Zuccheri worked closely with Venini and created several iconic works, where experimental play of color and encounters with materials are central characteristics.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
