Product description

Special Pinna chair designed by Yrjö Wiherheimo and Rudi Merz for Korkeakosko OY in Finland in the 1970s. The chair has a beech frame with a seat and back in black lacquered wood - an elegant and graphic expression that combines Nordic simplicity with characterful details.

The black lacquer has been painted over once, but still appears in good condition. The chair has normal signs of use and wear consistent with its age, but structurally it is in good functional condition.

A rare and sought-after piece of Finnish design that is rarely seen on the market.

Bought a used Wegner armchair, which was delivered directly from a dealer. So it seems that Splish collaborates with different dealers who are then responsible for the delivery. Therefore it feels a bit like I could have just as well ordered directly from the dealer, but at the same time it is quite nice that you can compare products across dealers on the website. The quality was as described and the delivery was problem-free, however the delivery took 9 days, while the website said 3-7 days. All in all, very satisfied.
